Downsizing
Moving to a new home may require help with downsizing, whether due to no longer needing the space of a larger house or choosing to move to a retirement community or condo. A smaller living space generally means less cleaning and maintenance, but it also means you need to go through all of your belongings to determine what will fit in your new space and what can be let go, which can be an overwhelming process. We will help you or your loved one with downsizing, working with care and understanding to ensure a smooth moving experience.

As a realtor Te'Aura loves helping her clients in all aspects of real estate from first time senior home buyers to downsizing seniors. Te'Aura became most interested in helping seniors because of her closet knit relationship with her grandmother. After her grandmother turned 90 in 2022. Te'Aura remembered the large pivot her grandmother took through the transition of moving into a senior community. From years of treasured items memorabilia and writing on the door trim. Ms. Loretta did not want to move, she actually hated the idea but was reassured that everything would be okay and it would be a fresh start to something great.
While moving the ball forward Te'Aura found her a place in a senior living community, near family and doctors. She sorted through all her grandmothers precious items, packed, organized, orchestrated movers and before you know it, Ms. Loretta was ready to moved. Ms. Loretta is comfortable in her new place and happy she made the move when she did.
Since that experience Te'Aura realized how much she loved taking time to spend with seniors and how much her family appreciated her for taking care of everything. This challenge brought to her attention that other seniors may have an overwhelming time moving, deciding where to move, packing and unpacking.
There are often things that need to be done after your love ones are secure in their new space. If selling a home this may include, repairs, estate sales, getting items to the family, donating remaining items staging and listing the home. Because I know how challenging this process can be I have made it my mission to make it easier for everyone. I have the resources to make this transition a smooth and easy one.
